Card Declined By PayPal?
Online donations, givings, and payments to our ministry are processed through a Secure PayPal payment system but you don't necessarily need to have PayPal account as it offers the option of using a debit or credit card.
Sometimes however, the Paypal system could decline a payment and the following are the possible causes. Suggested solutions are also given in italics.
Possible Causes and solutions:
1. Your card does not support international payments – (check with your Bank to be sure or change card).
2. Your card or billing address information is inaccurate – (Check to verify)
3. Your card has expired or is out of date - (Check to verify)
4. The charge is larger than what you usually would put on your card - (check with your Bank to be sure and/or to make amends)
5. Your card issuer has to approve the transaction, or has more information - (check with your Bank to get that resolved).
6. You've linked the card to a PayPal account, but have not yet confirmed it – (Confirm the card so you can use it on PayPal. If unsure, contact PayPal).
7. You've exceeded your card limit with the PayPal system – (Check with PayPal to clarify).
8. Your device or IP address is flagged by the PayPal system – (Contact PayPal to resolve it).
9. Your browser is not accepting cookies – (Use a different browser or change the cookie settings on your browser. If you don't know how, check YouTube or do a Google search).
10. If none of the above has helped to resolve the issue, please get in touch with us using this email address: [email protected].
